Frances Myers Died Sunday

Mrs. Loren Myers, a well-known clerk at auction sales in this area, died at her home south of Macksburg, Sunday, Dec. 31, of an apparent heart attack. She was 42 years of age.

Frances Elizabeth Myers was born May 24, 1936 at Maryville, Missouri, the daughter of Louis and Eula Buecher Lehmer.

Mrs. Myers lived in Missouri for several years before moving to the Peru area with her parents. She graduated from Peru High School in 1954. January 9, 1957 she was married to Loren D. Myers who survives. She attended the United Methodist Church in Macksburg and was a member of --------------- and served as an auctioneer clerk.

She is survived by her husband, Loren; two children, Steven Craig and Diane Renee, both at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lehmer Peru and ten brothers and sisters: Louis D. Lehmer of Columbia, Missouri; Delores Todden of Des Moines; Jerry Lehmer of Peru; Virginia Hughes of Dallas Center; Tom Lehmer of Peru, Rita Baker of Lenox; Gwendolyn Lafferty of Thayer; Linda Callison of ----------------, Colorado; Alberta Callahan of Omaha; and Ray Lehmer of St. Charles. She is also survived by her grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Lehmer. She was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Funeral services were held from the United Methodist Church in Macksburg, Wednesday morning, Jan. 3, 1979 with Rev. John Ackerman officiating. Burial was in Moon Cemetery.
