Word has been received here of the recent death of Kenneth P. Vinsel of Louisville, Kentucky while vacationing in Venice, Florida ----------.
Mr. Kinsel was a farmer teacher and coach in the Winterset schools. He moved to Kentucky in 1931 to teach at the University of Louisville. Previously he had been a teacher and coach at the University of Mississippi at Oxford. In 1935 he was named head of the University of Louisville Department of history and political science and director of the University's summer program. He held both of these positions until 1943.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Maude Powell; two sons, John E. Vinsel of Amherst, N.H. and Kenneth P. Vinsel, Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. George Tallman of Richardson, Texas and 11 grandchildren.
