Richard G. Koehler, 81, died Saturday, Jan. 12, in Des Moines.
Richard was born in Winterset to George and Lois Koehler. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. His career was in plumbing and heating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, Douglas (Janet) of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Rodney (Darin) of Caty, Texas; one grandson, A.J. of Germany; and four step grandchildren.
Per his wishes, no services were held.
