Creston Death of Mr. Wheeler

Elva Earl Wheeler, born December 26, 1910, in Madison County, the son of Cyrus Wheeler and Mattie Mobley Wheeler, died Saturday, March 27, 1976, at the Greater Community Hospital in Creston.

Married December 15, 1930, to Ivalea Kirby, Mr. Wheeler spent his life in Madison County with the exception of a two year residence in Warren County. He retired from farming in 1973.

Survivors include his wife, Ivalea, a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Donna) Brown, four grandchildren, two brothers, Lee Wheeler of Lorimor and Elga Wheeler of Creston. Mr. Wheeler was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services for Elva Earl Wheeler were conducted Tuesday, March 30, at 1:30 p.m. from the Methodist Church in Macksburg, the Rev. Willis Grant officiating. Burial was made in the Moon Cemetery. Services were in charge of Watts-Lindsey Funeral Home in Lorimor.
