JANICE YOUNG, Winterset

Janice Lavonne Young, 77, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Winterset Care Center South.

A graveside service at the Winterset Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family or to Middle River Hospice.

Janice was born on June 17, 1935, in Creston, Iowa, to Lawrence and Leona (Wilson) Sadler. She graduated from Creston High School and married Robert Young on Sept. 11, 1954.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Young; a sister, Radine Combs; and a brother, Robert Sadler.

She is survived by a daughter, Michele Young of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; a son, Michael (Sherri) Young of Winterset; and a son, Greg Young of Winterset; seven grandchildren, Emily (Scott) Marlett, Danielle Camp, Dustin Camp, Ashley Young, Amie Duffy, Noah Munoz and Hannah Munoz; and two great-grandchildren, Landon Marlett and Allura Duffy.
