Ivor Clark Dies at 95

A resident of Madison County since his birth here September 30, 1880, Ivor W. Clark died Thursday, March 18, 1976, at Madison County Memorial Hospital. He was 95 years old.

A retired farmer since 1958, Ivor Clark was the son of Benjamin Clark and Nancy Getchell Clark. His marriage to Elsie Shilling took place April 10, 1939 in Des Moines.

Survivors include a son, Wallace Ivor Clark of Long Beach, California, a step-daughter, Eunice Parks and a step-son, Carl Hayes, both of Des Moines; three grandchildren; one brother, Charlie Clark; and one sister, Bessie Caudle, both of Winterset.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, who died June 5, 1975, and a son, George, and a brother.

Funeral services for Ivor Clark were conducted Monday, March 22, 1976 at 10 a.m. from Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, the Rev. Paul Bousfield presiding. Burial was made at the North McDonald Cemetery.
