Mrs. Beatrice Reimann Dies

Funeral services were held in Van Meter last Thursday, January 16, for Beatrice I. Reimann, a longtime Madison County resident. Mrs. Reimann died at the Hutchinson Nursing Home in Des Moines Monday, January 13, at the age of 76.

Beatrice Isabella Reimann was born in Jefferson Township April 26, 1898, the daughter of Nelson and Blanche Addy Brooker. She was married to Harry Reimann on August 12, 1916.

Mrs. Reimann was a member of the Van Meter United Methodist Church.

Survivors include six children: Mildred Nesselroad of Grimes, Lucille Swallow of Earlham, Frances Wight of Winterset, Gerald Reimann of Adel, Rose Ellen Danley of Winterset, and Delores Kay Jamison of Booneville. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Reimann was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Reimann on January 16, 1969; and by her parents and four brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 16, at the Fisher Funeral Home in Van Meter, with the Rev. Clyde Sparks officiating. Burial was in the Jefferson cemetery.
