Hold Rites for Silverthorn Child

Graveside services were held Thursday, October 3, for Zachary David Silverthorn, infant son of Dusty Wayne and Teri Reed Silverthorn of Winterset.

The child was born at Madison County Memorial Hospital on September 29 and died the next day at Blank Memorial Hospital in Des Moines.

Besides its parents, the child is survived by its grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John T. Reed of Winterset and Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Silverthorn of Lorimor. Also surviving are great-grandmothers, Lorraine Miner and Eva Silverthorn, both of Winterset; and great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Gerald McKee of Macksburg.

Graveside rites were held in the Winterset Cemetery on October 3 with the Rev. Charles Updike officiating.
