Marvin L. Wise, Sr., 64, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Broadlawns Medical Center. Per his request, his body has been cremated and a private family gathering was held.
Marvin was born April 22, 1948 in St. Charles, Iowa to Maurice and Audrey Wise. He graduated from I35 High School. Marvin retired from Iowa Paint after 43 years of service. He enjoyed traveling and reading the newspapers.
Marvin is survived by his son, Marvin Wise, Jr.; Daughter, Melissa (Cesar) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Andy, Lacey, Nicole, Audrey and Angel Gomez; great-granddaughter, Dianna; two great-grandsons on the way; sisters, Myrna, Janet, Leona and Julia; and his best friend, Jolene Rouse. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Diana.
