Henry Low Died March 20

Henry T. Low of Winterset, a long-time resident of this community, died Tuesday, March 20 at Memorial Hospital here at the age of 81 years. He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Low was born in this county May 30, 1891, a son of Ephraim and Eunice Hatch Low. Most of his life was spent in this county.

He was married August 1, 1912 to Hazel T. Pew. Her death occurred April 15, 1972.

He was a member of the Christian Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. J. Eileen Coe of Ft. Worth, Texas; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Melvin and Lawrence Low.

Funeral services were held Friday from the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Eldon Jandebour, pastor of the First Christian Church here and the Rev. Charles Updike, pastor of the Winterset Foursquare Church. Burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.
