Freda Grulke Died Thursday

Mrs. Eldon Grulke of Winterset died last Thursday, Jan. 21, at Memorial hospital here. She was 63 years of age.

Mrs. Grulke was a life-time resident of Madison county. She was the former Freda Gertrude Bruett, daughter of Charles and DeVona Cline Bruett, and was born here Feb. 1, 1907. She was married at Manhattan, Kan., on June 27, 1930, to Eldon Grulke.

She was a member of the Assembly of God church in Winterset.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Allen of Winterset; two grandsons; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Kirby, Mrs. Zola Gentry and Mrs. Margaret DeVault, all of Winterset; and three brothers, Otis, Charles and Clifford Bruett, all of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Roger Pettijohn. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
