Mrs. Cecil Osborn Died Here Friday

Mrs. Cecil Osborn of Winterset, a resident of Madison county most of her life, died Friday, Oct. 31, at Memorial hospital here. She was 73 years of age.

Mrs. Osborn was born in Madison county March 1, 1896. She was a daughter of Albert A. and Mahalia Parker Allen. She was married to Lawrence Osborn March 29, 1911. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Osborn was a member of the United Methodist church.

She leaves three children, Mrs. Eugene Kingery of Macksburg, Richard L. Osborn of Earlham and Leo G. Osborn of Austin, Tex; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Vernon Allen of Uvalde, Tex.; and four sisters, Mrs. Elsie Kirk of Winterset, Mrs. Leone Shelly of Indianola, Mrs. Neta Wilkins of Loup City, Nebr., and Mrs. Edith Graham of Frances, Wash.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the First United Methodist church of Winterset, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Everett K. Burham. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
