Earnest Bonham, formerly of Macksburg, died last Thursday, June 12, at a hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Macksburg Methodist church, with burial in Moon cemetery.

LORIMOR—Ernest A. Bonham, 89, died at the University of Iowa hospitals at Iowa City, Thursday. He was retired and had lived all of his life in Madison county.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Macksburg United Methodist church. Rev. Donald Kinzler will officiate. Burial will be in the Moon cemetery, near Macksburg. His body is at the Watts-Soll funeral home at Lorimor.
Ernest A. Bonham was born in Madison county, Nov. 6, 1879. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bonham. He was married in Union county to Lydia Compton, who preceded him in death in 1963.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ora Graham of Spokane, Wash.; several nieces and nephews; and cousins, Mrs. Verlie Garrett and Francis Bonham, both of Macksburg. His parents and a brother preceded him in death.
