Pearl Ogden of DeSoto Dies

Mrs. Pearl E. Ogden of DeSoto died July 21 at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 83 years of age.

Mrs. Ogden was a daughter of James and Julia Garrison, and was born at Huntley, Nebr. She was married at Holdredge, Nebr., on Feb. 15, 1906, to David S. Ogden. His death occurred in 1951.

She had lived in Iowa since 1927, and at DeSoto since 1956.

Surviving are three children, Leonard Ogden of Wood River, Nebr., and Mrs. Virgil Winchester and Mrs. Francis Johnston, both of DeSoto; a brother, Ben Garrison of Holdredge, Nebr.; a sister, Mrs. Edith Beddie of Lincoln, Nebr.; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held July 23 from the Fisher Funeral home in Van Meter. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
