Funeral Services Held Here Tuesday for Former Resident
Mrs. Charles Harpole, formerly of Madison county, died Thursday, May 16, at her home in Salina, Utah. She was 60 years of age.
Mrs. Harpole was born in Madison county Dec. 28, 1907. She was the former Mary Joan McDonald, daughter of Joseph C. and Mahala Eggleston McDonald. She was married at Omaha on Dec. 28, 1932, to Charles Harpole.
She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Ann Loomis of Afton, a son, Bernard Harpole of Bountiful, Utah, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McDonald of Dinosaur, Colo., six grandchildren, a brother, Louis McDonald of Winterset, and four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Spick of St. Charles, Mrs. Georgia Silverthorn of Norwood, Mo., Mrs. Thelma Speer of Branson, Mo., and Mrs. Mabel Richens of Bernal, Utah.
Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the Wilson Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Charles Updike, pastor of the Winterset Foursquare church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
