Eva Landers Died Sunday

Mrs. Nevin Landers of Winterset died Sunday, June 9, at a Des Moines hospital. She was 82 years of age.

Mrs. Landers was a resident of Madison county nearly all her life. She was born in Henry county Aug. 10, 1885. She was the former Eva L. Cumings, daughter of David and Nancy McKee Cumings.

She was married April 9, 1908, to Nevin Landers. They lived in Bevington until 1919, when they moved to Winterset.

She was a member of the Grace Baptist church in Winterset and a charter member of the Royal Neighbors here.

Two of her daughters, Mrs. Velma Buttons and Mrs. Nina Longest preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Nolan Stockwell of West Des Moines, and Mrs. Willis Cox of Los Angeles, California and one granddaughter.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Grace Baptist church in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Melvin Mat---. Burial was to be made in the Winterset cemetery.
