4-Year-Old Girl Stricken Fatally

A 4-year-old Lorimor girl died Saturday night enroute to Memorial hospital in Winterset stricken with a sudden, fatal illness.

The little girl was Lisa Ann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Harrison of Lorimor. She had been in good health that day, and went to bed Saturday evening with no hint of illness.

A few hours later the child started screaming. Her mother found her obviously sick. The doctor was called, and he advised that she be taken immediately to a hospital. She was rushed to Winterset, but was pronounced dead on arrival here.

An autopsy was performed, and it revealed that death was caused by an aneurism of an artery at the base of the brain. This was a ballooning and rupturing of the artery. This is a congenital condition.

Note: Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
