Ida Blosser of Patterson Dies

Life-Long Resident of This County was 85 Years of Age

Mrs. Ida Blosser of Patterson, a life-long resident of that community, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 85 years of age.

Mrs. Blosser was born in Madison county March 23, 1882. She was the former Ida B. Pace, daughter of Nusum and Gill Grissom Pace.

She was married at Patterson on Sept. 14, 1902, to Frank Blosser. His death occurred Sept. 7, 1946.

She was a member of the Patterson Methodist church where she was active in the Women’s Society for Christian Service.

Surviving are a brother, Denny Pace, and a sister, Mrs. Inus Potter.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Patterson Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. James N. Louk. Burial was made in Mt. Pelier cemetery.
