Mrs. Ferne Maine of Des Moines Dies

Mrs. Ferne Maine, a former resident of St. Charles died April 29 at a Des Moines hospital. She was a daughter of Mrs. Margaret Thompson of St. Charles. She had lived in Des Moines since leaving St. Charles.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Hugh A. Maine of Des Moines; a son, Frank Maine of San Francisco, Calif.; two granddaughters; a brother, Ralph Thompson of Seattle, Wash.; and four sisters, Mrs. Marie Lindsley of Clearwater, Fla., and Mrs. Mildred Swanson, Mrs. Florence Anderson and Mrs. Lorraine Waddell of Detroit, Mich.

Note: Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
