Pg 7BMargaret Nunan Dies At Cherokee
Mrs. Maurice Nunan, a resident of Madison county and Winterset most of her life, died Saturday, September 10, at a hospital in Cherokee. She was 77 years of age.
Mrs. Nunan was the former Margaret Bernice Cowan, daughter of John and Mary Macomber Cowan. She was born at Cascade, October 20, 1888. Her husband, the late Maurice Nunan of Winterset died several years ago.
Most of Mrs. Nunan’s adult life was spent as an invalid. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Nearest surviving relative is a brother, Elmer Cowan, of Pasadena, California.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Wilson Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Everett K. Burham, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
