Mrs. Agnes E. McDaniel of St. Charles died there Sunday, May 8, at the age of 74 years.
Mrs. McDaniel was a native of Illinois, where she was born June 20, 1891, a daughter of John H. and Ellen McDonn Delanty. As a young woman she was married to George Geitner. He preceded her in death, as also did one of the two sons born of this union.
In 1925, she was married to George McDaniel. They made their home in the Truro and St. Charles areas. After his death, she lived at Hanley until recently, when she moved into St. Charles.
She leaves a son, Richard Geitner of Grant City, Mo., two step-daughters, Leata Daniels of Des Moines, and Cora Barnes of St. Charles; a step-son, Carl McDaniel of Milan, Ill. and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 10 from the St. Charles Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. James Louk. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
