Mrs. E. L. Tracy Dies at 68 Years

Mrs. E. L. Tracy of Portland, Ore. died there Monday, Dec. 14 at the age of 68 years. The body was brought here for funeral services, held this Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. from the Collins Funeral home, with burial in the Winterset cemetery. The Rev. E. K. Burham, pastor of the First Methodist church of Winterset, conducted the services.

Mrs. Tracy was a native of Hardin county, where she was born Dec. 14, 1879. She was the former Jessie Alexander, daughter of Levi and Ann Alexander. Prior to her marriage she lived in Madison county. She and her husband lived at Arispe before moving to Oregon in 1943.

Her husband died in March of this year.

She is survived by four children, Lester M. Tracy of Portland, Mrs. Doris Mitchell of Greenfield, Mrs. Frances Ann O’Neal of Afton, and Dr. Harold Tracy of Moses Lake, Wash. She also leaves 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
