Mrs. John Miskey, a native of Madison county, died last Thursday, Jan. 30, at a hospital in California following surgery. She was 58 years of age.
Mrs. Miskey, the former Esther Husted was born in this county June 6, 1905, the daughter of Ora E. and Etna Husted and spent her early life here. She had lived in California for about 35 years.
She is survived by her husband, a daughter Shirley Coberly; four grandchildren, and two brothers Merrill of Winterset and Crestley of Des Moines.
Brief services were held at the Wilson funeral home Monday afternoon with graveside services at the Winterset cemetery with Rev. W. A. Samp in charge.
