Pg 5Mrs. Etta Beerbower of Winterset Dies
Mrs. Etta R. Beerbower of Winterset, a life-long resident of Madison county, died last Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the age of 74 years.
Mrs. Beerbower was born in Crawford township, near Patterson on March 20, 1881, a daughter of James and Mary McMichael. She was married in April, 1898, to Harlan Beerbower.
They were parents of two children Orval Beerbower of Lorimor and Mrs. Edith Parkins of Van Meter, both of who survive their mother.
She also leaves a brother, Thomas McMichael of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Esther Allen of St. Charles; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Beerbower was a life-long member of the United Presbyterian church in Winterset.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Anderson home for funeral here, conducted by the Rev. S. C. Picken, pastor of the Winterset United Presbyterian church. Burial was made in Montpelier cemetery near Patterson.
