Frank Libby of St. Charles Dies

Well-known Resident There had Lived in Madison County For 60 Years.

Frank B. Libby, well-known resident of the St. Charles community for many years, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 72 years of age.

Mr. Libby was a native of Greene county, where he was born Aug. 5, 1891, a son of William T. and Sara Moulding Libby. He had lived in Madison county for 60 years.

His active years were spent in farming. He was a member of the Methodist church.

Mr. Libby was married at Patterson, Dec. 21, 1913, to Mamie Brown, who survives him. He also leaves three sons, Elmer, Dale and Ernest Libby, all of Patterson; a brother, Elmer E. Libby of Winterset; and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Linn of Redfield, in addition to 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the St. Charles Methodist church in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Howard Cho. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
