ROBERT MONAGHAN

Robert Monaghan, 68, of 1204 Locust St., died of a heart attack Sunday at home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mount Ayr, with burial at Rose Hill cemetery there.

Mr. Monaghan was born in Winterset and lived in Des Moines 23 years. He was a retired janitor and Air Force veteran.

Surviving are a daughter, Katie Still of Mount Ayr; four sons, Mike of Des Moines, Pat of Diagonal, Kelly of Creston and Casey of Mount Ayr; a sister, Gertrude Holland of California; and six grandchildren.

There will be a 7 p.m. Wake service today at Wilson-Watson Funeral Home in Mount Ayr.
