Mrs. Hart Is Called

The community was greatly shocked Wednesday morning to hear that Mrs. Lillie Hart, wife of C. L. Hart had died that morning at three o'clock in a Billings hospital from blood poisoning.

While employed at her household duties Wednesday of last week she inflected a scratch on her left hand. This became infected and rapidly spread through the system. So bad had her condition become that she was taken to a Billings hospital Tuesday evening were all possible was done to save her life that human efforts were of no avail.

Mrs. Hart will be greatly missed in the neighborhood for the she was always active in community affairs and numbered everyone has a friend.

Mrs. Hart was born in Madison county, Iowa March 17, 1872 and at the time of her death was 59 years nine months and 14 days old.

On December 25, 1890 at her birthplace, she was married to C. L. Hart and left there until 1900 when they move to Montana. They first settle at Silesia and later moved to a farm near Eager where they lived until a few years ago and they moved into town and engaged in the restaurant business.

Besides her husband she is survived by seven children: Arlie Hart, Thermopolis, Wyoming, Claude Hart, Potlatch, Idaho; Mrs. Leo Hathaway, Edgar, Leonard, Wallace, Lloyd and Mabel living at home. Also her mother, Mrs. Wight who lives at Cove, Ark., three brothers and three sisters living in Iowa.

Remains are in care of the Settergren home and will be forwarded to Edgar Friday morning.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Methodist church at Edgar on Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock.

Rev. A. C. Baer of Fromberg, will officiate and interment will be made in the Rockvale cemetery.
