December 6, 1998 Metro pg 8Sharon Kay DeBok, 57, of 4128 Third St., died of adult respiratory distress syndrome Friday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Epworth United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. at Winterset Cemetery.
She was born in Winterset and had lived in Des Moines since 1959. She was a receptionist with Child and Family Policy Center and a member of Friendship Force.
She is survived by a sister, Diane DeBok of Riverside.
Her companion was Jim Scheffler of Des Moines.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday at Highland Park Funeral Home.
