Dorcas E. Pace, 83, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Thursday at Westview Care Center there. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will be at Montpelier Cemetery in Patterson.

Mrs. Pace was born in Warren County and moved to Indianola in 1974. She formerly owned her own beauty shop in Hartford and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Indianola and Warren County Historical Society.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Doris Krichau, and a brother, Charles Lyon, both of Knoxville; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
