Shirley Jean Harvey, 64, of Indianola died of an aneurysm Thursday at University Hospitals in Iowa City. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Van Meter, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Harvey, a homemaker was born in Polk County and had lived in Dallas County since 1964 until moving to Indianola six months ago. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and Lutheran Women’s Mission League.

Surviving are her husband, Gerald; four daughters, Franci Finney of Indianola, Trudy Harvey of Des Moines and Jodine Smith and Sue Hutzell, both of Van Meter; three sons, Gary of Adel, Douglas of Indianola and Mark of Baxter; her mother, Josephine Jones of Ankeny; three sisters, Sherry Shearer of Madrid, Geri Remster of Adel and Josephine Robertson of Saylorville; two brothers, David Jones of Ackely and Jim Jones of Carlisle; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton’s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Des Moines.
