Emory R. Pyle of Oakridge passed away February 15, 1972. Beloved husband of Orpha; father of Emory Lee Pyle of Seattle, Washington, and Annabelle Hanson of Missoula, Montana; stepfather of Audrey Tomlin of Oakridge; also survived by a brother Earl, of Springfield; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a cousin, Bonnie Baker of Oakridge.

Mr. Pyle was born March 17, 1900 and Maxburg, Iowa. He moved to Oakridge in 1964.

He had worked for Pacific Power and Light for 20 years. He was a member of Oakridge Masonic Lodge No. 205, AF&AM.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 18, 1972, at 11 a.m. at the Oak Ridge Funeral Home. Oakridge Masonic Lodge, No. 205, AF& AM officiating. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Springfield.
