Therese Marie Kelleher Conner, 62, of 3238 Kinsey Ave. died of cancer Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and the body will be donated to the University of Iowa for medical research.

Mrs. Conner lived in Des Moines most of her life. She had been an administrative assistant at Equitable Life Insurance Co. and also worked on a federal research project in genetics at Raleigh, N.C. She was a member of the Catholic Church and Iowa State University Alumni Association.

Surviving are her husband, James; four daughters, Clara Conner, Rita Conner, Sara Conner and Mollie Conner, all of Des Moines; six sisters, Mary Ellen Hatley of Des Moines, Elizabeth Schaefer of Baltimore, Agnes McLaughlin of Cumming, Rita Rooney of Maxwell, Sue Gollon of Hopkins, Minn., and Gretchen Wilson of Aurora, Colo.; two brothers, Peter Kelleher of Houston and Michael Kelleher of Des Moines; and a grandchild.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home.
