WINTERSET, IA. — Clyde “Johnny” Johnson, 80, of Winterset, retired from Northwestern Bell Telephone Co., died of emphysema Monday at Madison County Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Winterset Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson was born in Rutland, Ohio. He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and was past president of the Rotary Club and Winterset Chamber of Commerce.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today at Collins Funeral Home and before service time Wednesday at the church.
