Rites Saturday for Mrs. Landers

Funeral services for Mrs. Floy Landers, 73, of 2215 E. Thirteenth St., will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton’s Funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale cemetery.

Mrs. Landers died Wednesday at Iowa Methodist hospital of a heart ailment. She was born in Detroit, Mich., but had lived most of her life in Iowa.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Pearl Routh of Guthrie Center, Ia., and one granddaughter, Jo Ann Evans of Des Moines.

Transcriber’s note: Floy was a Madison County resident in the 1880s and was married there in 1889.
