She and her family moved from Colorado when she was a small child, to the Ackworth, Iowa area and she attended school there until they moved to Indianola, where she attended high school.

To this marriage was born four children: two daughters, Alice Bea and Mary June; and two sons, Louis and Jess.

After the death of her husband, she moved her family to Indianola. There she worked as a clerk in the “Ben Franklin Dime Store” and for a brief time at Harrison’s Variety Store.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Alice Bea Latiano, her parents, a sister and a brother.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary June Adams and husband Jim of Martensdale; her sons Louis and wife Betty of Indianola and Jess and wife Judy of Des Moines; and 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at the St. Charles cemetery, on August 22, with Pastor Jim Patrick of Indianola officiating.
