January 11, 1989 Metro pg 5GUTHRIE CENTER, IA. — Doris M. Coe, 86, of Guthrie Center died of a heart ailment Sunday at Bayard Care Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wichita Methodist Church north of Guthrie Center, and burial will be in Seeley Township Cemetery near Guthrie Center.
Mrs. Coe was born in Earlham and lived in Guthrie County all her life. She was a homemaker and a member of United Methodist Women.
Surviving are five daughters, Olivene Petersen of Panora, Helen Murphy of Cedar Rapids, Ruby Bowers of Des Moines and Laura Nickel and Edna Coe, both of Guthrie Center; two sisters, Pauline Woods of Scranton and Lavonne Collins of Guthrie Center; and 18 grandchildren.
Beidelman’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
