Theo Benham, a former resident of Winterset and of Patterson, died at his home at Atlantic yesterday. He was stricken with paralysis four months ago, which finally caused his death.
The body was brought by way of Earlham this morning. Burial will be at Union chapel, which is near Mr. Benham's early home.

Theodore A. Benham, son of Mrs. C. A. Willcox, was born in Mason county, Illinois, in 1856, and died at his home in Atlantic, Ia, Dec. 7, 1920, his age being 64 years, 1 month and 7 days.
At the age of 10 years he moved to Iowa with his step-father and settled on a farm about three miles south of Patterson, this county. In the year 1888 he was married to Nancy Louise Bell. To this union eight children were born, Virgie and Ralph dying in infancy.
In 1906 he moved from Madison county to Anita, Ia., living there four years , after which he moved to Madison county and living in Winterset, was united with the Winterset Church of Christ in 1914.
It was in September, 1919, that he moved from Winterset to Atlantic, and resided there until his death. In March, 1919, he suffered a stroke of paralysis from which he never fully recovered.
He was a kind and jovial husband, good father and will be sadly missed in the home. Of the immediate family left to mourn his death are his wife, mother, half brother, Joseph Frank, of Winterset, Mrs. Caryle Parrott, Exira, Ia., Frank Benham, Exira, Ia., Fred and John Benham at home, three sons-in-law and seven grandchildren.
The funeral sermon was delivered by Dr. N. C. Carpenter of the Winterset Church of Christ, after which the body was buried in the Union Chapel cemetery, three miles south of Patterson.
