Ruth M. Picken, St. Charles

Services for Ruth M. Picken, 100, St. Charles, who died April 2 at the Bethesda Care Center in Winterset, were held Wednesday, April 4, at the Kale Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Webster of St. Charles officiating. Burial was in the St. Charles Cemetery.

She was born in St. Marys on December 13, 1889, the daughter of James and Caroline Wallace Picken.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Graham and a sister, Elizabeth. She was a teacher and has a surviving sister, Myrtle Hayden of St. Charles.
