Alma H. Spera, Winterset

Services for Alma H. Spera, 89, Winterset, who died March 14 at the Bethesda Care Center, were held Saturday, March 17, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Lautt officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born at Peru on December 17, 1900, she was the daughter of J. Cyrus and Laura Ann Howe Mease. She was married to Raymond Spera on September 1, 1930 in Winterset and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Spera was a lifelong resident of Winterset and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Democratic Ladies Club and Columbian Club.

Survivors include her nephews, Jack Mease and John Spera, both of Winterset, and Dr. Willis Mease of South Carolina; and nieces, Sharon Libby of Winterset, Thelma Colvin of San Diego, Calif., and Beverly Schultz of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and a sister.
