The funeral of Allen Davis was held at North River church last Wednesday, services conducted by Rev. Giddens of Winterset and interment made in the McDonald cemetery.

Allen Davis Dead

The body of Allen Davis, former Madison county man, was brought to Winterset this morning for burial. He was the son of Lemuel Davis and was fifty years old. He has lived in Kansas City eight or ten years.

He suffered an attack of influenza last winter and did not recover from it.
