Dewey Caldwell, West Des Moines

Services for Dewey Caldwell, 86, former Booneville resident, who died Feb. 9 at the Fountain West Health Care Center in West Des Moines where he resided, were held Tuesday, Feb. 12 at the Fisher Funeral Home at Van Meter. Burial was at the Chapel Cemetery, southwest of Booneville.

He had lived in West Des Moines for a year, but had lived in the Booneville and Donahue areas most of his life. A farmer, he had retired in 1965. He was born March 13, 1898, the son of Rodney and Alice Caldwell.

Survivors include nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.
