Services for Louis A. Hanrahan, 73, of 6925 Sunset Terrace in Windsor Heights, who died of a lung ailment Thursday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery near Cumming.

Mr. Hanrahan was born in Madison County and lived in Des Moines 50 years. He was a retired sales manager for Bookey Packing Co. and was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church and the Dowling Club.

Survivors include his wife, Blanche; two sons, Gregory L. of St. Louis, Mo., and Jerome J. at home; a sister, Florence Brommel of Belmond; a brother, Michael of Des Moines, and three grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Dowling-St. Joseph Foundation, St. Theresa’s or the Arthritis Foundation.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today, and a rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Westover Funeral Home.
