Mrs. Joe Roth and Mrs. Wanda Strable received the word Thursday morning their sister-in-law Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Strable, 79, died of a heart attack at the Samaritan Nursing Home in Indianola Wednesday night. Funeral services were at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola Saturday with burial at St. Charles Cemetery.

She is survived by one son Gene of Des Moines, a daughter Tina Turner of rural Indianola, nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
