Edward J. Breheny, 69, of 1921 Eleventh St. died of emplysema Friday at Veterans Administration Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Cathedral with burial at Earlham Cemetery.

Mr. Breheny was a professional magician, working under the name of Eddie Jester, until he retired in 1975. He was a member of Justo-Hijo Magicians Club and Amvets Post 2. A Valley Junction native, he lived in Des Moines most of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; a brother, Robert of Des Moines; and a sister, Doris Breheny of Des Moines.

Friends may call after noon today at Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
