Death of BABY LESTER BARTLETT

Lester Elmo, the little son of Walter and Julia Bartlett, died on Friday, Jan. 23rd, at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Gates on West Jefferson street.

The baby was born in Macksburg on November 18, 1918, and was but fourteen months old at death, which came as the result of five days' illness from water on the brain.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. O. P. Bellanger at the home on Saturday afternoon. The relatives so suddenly bereft of this bright little fellow, are surrounded by sympathizing friends and neighbors.
