Death of BUTLER FINNEY

The sudden death of Butler Finney of Jefferson township, on Nov. 26th came as a great shock to his family and friends.

He rose on Wednesday morning to build the fire and after a little time, Mrs. Finney heard him call her name. Hurrying out of the bedroom, she found him sinking into a chair and he never spoke again. Death came that afternoon about two o'clock. Apoplexy is given as the cause of his death.

Funeral services were held on Nov. 28 in the Church of Christ with Rev. O. P. Bellanger in charge, burial taking place in the Wintersest cemetery.

Mrs. Finney and one son, Paul, survive, as do his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Finney.

Mr. Finney's death at the early age of 35 years, brings sorrow to many besides his relatives to whom deep sympathy will be due.
