MRS. FLORENCE MCKIBBAN
The funeral of Mrs. Florence McKibban was held from the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon. A male choir furnished the music, and Rev. Hill, the pastor, preached the funeral sermon.
Interment was made in the McKibban cemetery by the side of her husband, who died 40 years ago.
Mrs. McKibban lived a long and useful life and many will look back to times when in need of help and sympathy she gladly gave both. She was left a widow in her early womanhood, with two young sons, but with a bravery born of love, she assumed the responsibility and today these two men with their families are left to mourn the loss of a beloved mother and grandmother. In the early part of her sickness, she expressed a desire to go and be at rest rather than to recover. The friends and neighbors join in sympathy toward the families thus bereaved.
_________________Note: Typed as published, McKibben is correct spelling of both the surname per the gravestone.
