FRANK P. HAZEN

Frank P. Hazen was born in Clayton county, Iowa, Nov. 7, 1857 and died at his home Nov. 16, 1919, making his age 62 years and 9 days. He came to Madison county with his parents when he was about 10 years old, where he spent the greater part of his life.

He was married to Amanda M. McDonald March 17, 1880. To this union were born three children: William Emerson, Charles Everett and Irvin Leroy. In 1895 Mr. Hazen united with the Union Chap U. B. church, of which he retained his membership until the time of his death. He leaves to mourn his departure three sons, eight grandchildren and many relatives and friends.

Mr. Hazen has been confined to his home for about nine months with ill health. The end came suddenly and peacefully on Sunday morn. He has answered the call of the Great Ruler.
