Death of CASPER BEERBOWER

Mrs. B. F. Bare received word on Wednesday, Nov. 5th, of the death of her only brother, Casper Beerbower, in Missoula, Mont., at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Parr.

Four weeks ago, Mr. and Mrs. Beerbower spent Sunday in Winterset with his mother, Mrs. Jane Beerbower and his sister, Mrs. Bare. He was in poor physical condition at the time and complained of blind attacks and other ills, but insisted on leaving here on Monday for Missoula. He arrived there in an unconscious state. The body has been taken to Jacksonville, Fla., for burial services probably being in progress this afternoon.

Casper Beerbower was born in Marion, Ohio, sixty-two years ago. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Beerbower, being pioneers in that vicinity. In 1870, the family left Marion, then a small town, and located in Winterset, Iowa, where Casper clerked in his father's grocery. For thirty eight years he has lived in Jacksonville. He married Miss Ida Buser a niece of George W. Hampton, a well known business man here forty years ago. One son, Lynn, died two years ago and the only daughter remains to comfort her mother.

Mr. Beerbower's mother and sister are survivors of an old family and their large circle of friends will share with them in their bereavement.
