Harriett Brown

Harriett B. Brown, 89, Milan, died Wednesday, July 8, 1998 at River Park Health Care Center, Rock Island.

Graveside services are noon Saturday at Hartman Cemetery, Truro, Iowa. There is no visitation. Family Funeral Services, Milan, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born September 9, 1912, in Walnut Township, Madison County, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Zella Nichols Ellson. She married Clifford E. Brown Sept. 19, 1929 in Polk County, Iowa. He died Dec. 25, 1979. Mrs. Brown was a housewife.

Survivors include sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Wilthoft, Davenport, and Agnes Sanger, Lake Isabella, Calif., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
